How old is the Earth?
Scientists have
found that the earth is about 4.55 billion years old.
Religious leaders
and preachers preach about 6000 years.
Who is right?
The answer is simple:
Both
How I see it is
that according to the Bible Humans and animals date back about 6000
years.
The earth was not
created 6000 years ago. The Bible says a day is like a thousand years
and a thousand years is like a day to God.
God first created
the earth and the sky and planets before humans and animals were placed
on earth.
Did the Big Bang happen?
Scientists tells
us that, that is how the universe came to life and also that it started
from nothing.
Can this be
proven?
Well not yet, but
what does the Bible say about it?
First there were
nothing. Then God spoke and the universe were created. (uni = one, verse
= spoken sentence)
So this proves
that even the Bible speaks of a Big Bang of some kind.
When God speaks it is like overwhelming thunder. (Big Bang)
